BPA free container - safe water from "AQUAZALEZHNI"

Water is the source of life. Even the human body is, on average, 60% liquid. Its daily use is vital, with it a large amount of organic substances and microelements enters the body. But, unfortunately, not everyone knows that not only the quality of the water used matters, but also what it is stored in - the container.

We will talk about this with the chief technologist of AQUAzalezhni, who told what BPA free packaging is and why one should beware of Bisphenol A.

- Hello! What is Bisphenol A?

- Good afternoon. Bisphenol A, also called BPA, is a chemical that has been used as a hardener in plastics and plastic-based products for over 50 years. The worst thing is that this list includes the production of food containers.

- Why is it scary?

- Bisphenol A is a synthetic estrogen (a subclass of steroid female sex hormones) that can disrupt the work of the endocrine, immune, nervous systems and cause cancer. Metabolism and sexual functions may suffer, and sleep may also be disturbed, which entails the development of chronic diseases. Knowing this, you must agree, it is scary to realize that BPA (aka Bisphenol A) is used in the food industry, including in the production of baby bottles. The fact that this substance tends to accumulate in the human body from the beginning of use and after termination adds fuel to the fire.

- How does Bisphenol A enter the body?

- Through the skin and lungs, but mainly with food and water, where it penetrates due to prolonged contact of liquid and food with plastic. If such a container is also heated in the microwave, then the process of release of Bisphenol A will accelerate.

Next time, buying water in a plastic bottle or food in plastic packaging, do not be too lazy to find a sign (marking) of recycling of raw materials on them - a triangle of three arrows. The presence of the numbers 7, 6, 3 in it, or their absence at all, indicates the presence of Bisphenol A. Those in which there are numbers 1, 2, 4, 5 or the marking PE, HDPE, PE-HD, PP, PS and BPA will be safe. free.

- Can you protect yourself from BPA?

- Of course! Many developed countries have done this long ago and recognized Bisphenol A as hazardous to health. Alas, Ukraine is still only on the way to this, so for now "the problems of drowning people are the work of the drowning people themselves."

Personally, I see several options for solving this problem:

  • Do not use canned food.
  • Use ceramic, porcelain, or glassware. But there are also disadvantages here. It is not always practical, sometimes expensive, and in the case of children, it can be traumatic.
  • Find a company that uses safe containers and packaging and buy only their products.

There are more and more such firms and enterprises in Ukraine every day. One of these is ours - "AQUAzalezhni". Today we are practically the only suppliers of water in Kiev in BPA free containers. The rest of the companies prefer polycarbonate containers, as they are more long-term in terms of use, but our mission is, first of all, the health of the client. Our plant is HACCP certified and has a certificate of safe and careful production, and we extract water from a 290-meter well in the village. Novoselki.

Better than yourself, no one will take care of your health! Be attentive not only to what you eat and drink, but also to which container you do it from. Take care of yourself!
